Andrew is responsible for the ongoing strategy, management and growth of HAIG’s Australasian farmland platform. Andrew joined HAIG at the inception of its Australia investing program in 2000 and has extensive experience in farmland agriculture, both domestic (Australia) and international with over 30 years in senior management positions with HNRG, ConAgra and Mitsubishi (Aust). Prior to assuming the HNRGA Directorship, Compliance Committee roles and Director of the Australian farm companies and operating entities, Andrew has been the Managing Director of Hancock Farming Company Pty Ltd, the property manager for HAIG’s Australian assets since inception. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science & Technology and serves as a Director on several agricultural advisory boards. He studied Applied Science in Agriculture at the Charles Stuart University at Wagga. Andrew’s family has farmed cotton, cereal crops and livestock for 4 generations in Northern New South Wales, and with his wife Julie, two sons and daughter this tradition continues and are all involved in agriculture.
