Boyd is responsible for FMS and HMS which includes overseeing close to 60,000 acres of permanent crops and 185,000 acres of row crops in the U.S. Boyd brings over 25 years’ agriculture experience to HAIG with farming expertise across 25 crop types including both permanent and row crops. Prior to joining HAIG, Boyd was Director for Wonderful Agriculture Management (WAM) where he was responsible for operations encompassing growers of citrus, pistachios and almonds and oversaw the technical consulting of citrus for WAM’s parent division, Wonderful Citrus. Boyd also served in the role of Farm Manager for WAM where he was responsible for multi-site farming operations consisting of citrus, almonds, olives, pistachios and wine/table grapes. Prior to WAM, Boyd worked for Tejon Ranch Corporation where he managed multi-site farming operations consisting of almonds, wine grapes, alfalfa and various row crops. Boyd holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Pre-law, and a Master of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Behavior. Additionally, Boyd is an Accredited Farm Manager and an Accredited Agricultural Consultant with the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
